Gypsy Dreams
We stand solo among the roaring traffic, through countless cups of coffee, driving in and out of monotone we created for ourselves – formal shoes, deadlines, meetings and ringtones. Inside all of us is an artist, one that has fallen asleep yearning for a space to celebrate themselves. So be it the easel, the dancing shoes or the microphone, pick up where you've left off.
Unwind, LET GO at the Gypsy Dreams, created for every gypsy stuck in a suit - it's YOUR SPACE.
Indulge the nomad in you by beating the blues with drum circles, making aimless structures on the pottery wheels, indulging in the weirdness of theatre, painting canvases, photographing, listening to live Qawalis, munching simple food and spending the night around camp fires with soothing live jazz and blues music, live stand up acts, movie screening and a memorable slumber in sleeping bags under the starry skies while you catch up with friends old and new!
Come discover the gypsy that you never knew you were, come dive deep within!
GYPSY DREAMS… dive deep within…
A two day one night Weekend Art Retreat to 5 acre serene set up in midst of the city.
Traveling with their wandering thoughts, dancing to the joys of their heart, the gypsies share an endless romance with life. They arrive in a caravan wearing vibrant colors and leave, leaving back the scented memories of life-reintroduced. These mysterious people surrounded by legends and occult stories often represent a shadow-your shadow- the undiscovered part in you. So many times in your steadfast lives the thought of running away must have crossed your minds, the thought of a momentary break to an undiscovered territory to just be YOU!
We, United Arts Society, bring you this opportunity, this place where you can let your minds wander without having to worry about doing everything right, meeting deadlines & being correct. A place that allows you to be a "GYPSY"!
A two day one night get away in the heart of nature.

Feedbacks of our last Gypsy Dreams:
“First of all the team should pat themselves on the back for pulling an event as wonderful and novel in concept like GypsyDream and in such an amazing fashion! Congratulations to all. I attended GD without any expectations (on purpose), so that I do not get biased or land up there with a specific frame of mind. And I must tell you, I had fun. I lived like a gypsy, felt like a gypsy and felt free”…. From… Ashwin A.
“For me Gypsy is a way of life but a Gypsy Dream could be whatever a soul could ask for. For each his own. Introduction and free fall was superb. We got to break the ice. then came the FOOD which was FANTASTIC. I was wondering if we could cook together, which is one of the most beautiful group bonding events (since ancient times). Specially for the gypsies. The silent meditation session was awesome. The contemporary dance even better!!! if you want to introduce creative writing I could pitch in. Maybe how to construct a small poetry. most people fear writing poetry but it’s so simple. Plus I think poetry is the core of many a gypsy!!! Let me know if you are interested. Thanks and GOD BLESS this neo spiritual movement. :)”From… Mridula S.
"I was really hesitant about coming for Gypsy Dreams, The whole concept of being a gypsy - (i.e. being uninhibited) in front of a whole group of people not known to me was scary, to say the least. I was not even sure why I wanted to do that. But something deep inside me kept coaxing me to go, so finally I pushed myself, But now I am so happy to be here.. About gypsy Dreams. I loved the uncertainty of the next activity. I loved meeting new people there, especially because each one of them had a connection, or most of them. Such a mix of people. The diversity was very good. I hope all batches get this diversity. I loved the fact that everyone had different ideas about life, different ambitions. And I loved getting my hands dirty to make something good! I am recommending it to everyone I know. And I realize seeing the pics on fb and listening to my first hand experience is proving to be better than trying to convince them without going. People actually trust my word now when I say it was good, see the pics."... From Prakrithi J
“My colleague (Khushboo) was a part of Gypsy Dreams. She had an awesome time. She had so much fun, that she dint come to work yesterday. She pulled me out of my work and was narrating the whole story to me till now. She enjoyed it so much that she is telling everyone in the office about the nice time she had.”… From..Nikey
“Firstly, let me congratulate you and your team for all your efforts in successfully conducting your very first Gypsy Dreams, last weekend. Being there amongst you guys was quite an experience for me, and I will remember it for a long while. I had shared my experience with my friends, and there are quite a few of them who are interested in being a part of the next event, so do keep us posted” … From Ashwin Wilson
“Hmmm. Where do I start. Well, as said yesterday, it was the 1st time that I was in between strangers and also in such workshop. oops...Gypsy Dreams. it was good experience. but for me, it was pretty tough to connect with people. well, I don’t say its coz of those guys...its jus that am poor at socializing. it takes lot of time to connect to ppl, But you guys made it happen for me… apart from that, also the whole experience was great.” … from B.Gowtham Kumar
